Service Center Closures
On August 9, 2012 the board of directors of Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington voted to close the Klamath Falls, Roseburg and Salem Service Centers. These Service Centers were permanently closed as of September 28, 2012. Below please find information regarding these decisions and the process moving forward. Please know that these decisions were not reached lightly.
Any phone calls to Salem will be answered in Porltand, Roseburg's calls will be forwarded to Medford and Klamath Falls' phones will be forwarded to Bend.

| We have a variety of beautiful and spacious program sites available for troop and service unit use throughout the year. Click on a name below to "jump" to detailed information about each property including cost and availability. You may also view a map of our council properties. For the safety of our members, we do not publicly list the addresses of our properties with the exception of our service centers. Day-use for properties is half of the overnight fee listed. Albany Program Center 
Located in a residential section of Albany, Oregon.

Camp Arrowhead

Camp Cleawox

STAFF HOUSE (Winterized) | A winterized building that has a residential kitchen with a sink, stove, refrigerator, ADA bathrooms with toilets and shower, and laundry. The Dalles Program Center 
An old house in a residential area in The Dalles, Oregon. Available for rental by registered Girl Scout members exculsively.

Elkhorn Outdoor Program Center 
Located in Eastern Oregon, this rustic camp is available year-round for tent camping. A great site for hiking and nature study, Elkhorn offers a natural experience for advanced campers. Available for rental by registered Girl Scout members exclusively.

Homestead Outdoor Program Center 
Located on the historically significant Creighton Homestead in Rhododendron, OR at the base of Mt. Hood. We encourage small groups to share the facilities and expenses with other troops. Special event rates apply for weddings, retreats and other events - visit our Venues page for more information. Program resources available:
Snow Play - Skiing, snowshoeing, tubing and sledding are available within a 15-mile drive. Call Mountain Tracks Ski Shop in Government Camp for ski and weather conditions. They also offer a discount to Girl Scouts who make rental equipment reservations in advance. Call (503) 272-3380.
Nature Study - Hiking can be done both on and off the property. For off property hikes, call the US Forest Service Zigzag District Office at (503) 622-3191 or visit their office located at 70220 E Highway 26 in Zigzag. They have current information on trails and conditions and can recommend the perfect hike for your group’s level of experience and interest. You can also visit the Mt. Hood Information Center website at mthood.info for other activities in the area. Be sure to call two weeks before your visit to schedule a guided nature walk with our rangers to explore the Homestead old growth including the oldest tree in this forest!
Historical - Learn about the Creighton family who settled here in 1912 from on-site exhibits or tour the Mt. Hood Museum and Cultural Center in Government Camp. Admission is free. Call (503) 272-3301 for hours.

Lebanon Program Center

Camp Low Echo 
Located on Lake of the Woods at the foot of Mt. McLoughlin. May be used for swimming, fishing, hiking, boating, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, volleyball and tetherball. Only available May-September due to severe winter weather.

Mountaindale Outdoor Program Center 
Located off Sunset Highway in North Plains, Oregon. Mountaindale has 50 acres of woods filled with hiking trails, native plants, birds and other wildlife. The large meadow is ideal for games and a nearby pond is great for environmental study. Unavailable mid-June to mid-August. Available for rental by registered Girl Scout members exculsively.

Newport Program Center

Ruth Hyde Outdoor Program Center 
This 90 acre camp is about seven miles west of Grants Pass.

Wallace Creek Outdoor Program Center 
This 200 acre site features three program areas and is located just outside of Jasper, Oregon.

Camp Whispering Winds
