Girl Scout Cookies Help Girls Develop Skills
When you purchase Girl Scout cookies, you are actively participating in a girl's success and investing in her potential to become a strong, confident and resourceful citizen. The Girl Scout Cookie Program is a hands-on leadership and entrepreneurial program for girls, through which they develop five essential life skills: goal setting, decision-making, money management, people skills and business ethics. Many successful business women today say they got their start selling Girl Scout cookies!
All of the proceeds from Girl Scouts OSW's cookie activities remain in the area where the cookies are sold. This revenue is used to benefit girls, some of it directly by remaining in the Girl Scout troop/group treasury and some of it indirectly by subsidizing the cost of providing Girl Scout program in the local area.
