Girl Scout troops can elect to choose their own Gift of Caring recipient, making the philanthropic effort of this program even more personal for their troop. Girls have chosen fire stations, military personnel, shelters, veterans, and other community organizations.
Throughout the 2023 cookie season, thousands of Girl Scouts representing areas within 38 counties participated in this special program to donate more than 40,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies, which will be distributed to various social service agencies throughout the region.
