Girl Scouts Inside & Out (Part 1) trains adults to assist Girl Scouts with planning and implementing safe, fun, and successful meetings and short outings close to the meeting place. This training is the first in a two-part series called Girl Scouts Inside & Out, which has replaced Day Trips and Indoor Overnights in the required adult training progression.

Extended Travel is defined as a trip of 4 or more nights (no matter the distance), or more than a 6-hour drive from the troop meeting place AND outside of council borders. This training is required for volunteers planning extended trips and covers girl planning, progression, participation and behavior agreements, safety, and council approval process.
This training is intended for troop leaders who have Girl Scout Juniors or older and have taken Girl Scouts Inside & Out parts 1 and 2 (or Day Trips and Indoor Overnights trainings) before taking this course.

Level up your paddling skills at this exciting two-night camp! Starting Friday evening (May 30), participants will settle in and prepare for an action-packed weekend. On Saturday, you'll focus on honing intermediate paddling techniques on Cleawox Lake, building confidence and refining your skills. On Sunday, take your skills to the next level with an off-site river paddling trip to the coast, followed by a relaxing beach adventure.
