Program Description
GSOSW, through third-party service providers, may use an autodialer to deliver text messages to you. GSOSW text messages are intended to provide you with marketing and promotional information regarding Girl Scout membership, Girl Scout Cookies, and other information about Girl Scouts.

There are a variety of methods to opt in to text messages from Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington, including through contact and interest forms on our website, or by calling Customer Care at 1-800-338-5248. Once opted in, message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply (see below).
COST
Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received in connection with GSOSW text messages, as provided in your mobile telephone service rate plan (please contact your mobile telephone carrier for pricing plans), in addition to any applicable roaming charges. GSOSW does not impose a separate fee for sending GSOSW text messages; however, you are responsible for any fees imposed by your mobile carrier of any kind whatsoever.
STOP Information
You can opt out of receiving further commercial text messages from Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington by responding “STOP” to any of our text messages (you will receive a confirmation text).

Your Mobile Telephone Number
You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you enroll. You are responsible for notifying GSOSW immediately if you change your mobile telephone number. You may notify GSOSW of a number change by contacting Customer Care at 1-800-478-7248.
You agree to indemnify Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington if you change your telephone number including, but not limited to, all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Access or Delivery to Mobile Network is Not Guaranteed
It is your responsibility to determine if your mobile carrier supports text messaging and if your mobile device is capable of receiving text messages. Your receipt of GSOSW text messages is subject to the terms and conditions of your agreement(s) with your mobile carrier.
Delivery of information and content to a mobile device may fail due to a variety of circumstances or conditions. You understand and acknowledge that network services, including but not limited to mobile network services, are outside of GSOSW’s control, and GSOSW is not responsible or liable for issues arising from such network services (e.g., delayed or undelivered messages or the security of any messages).
Changes in SMS Terms and Conditions
We may modify these Terms from time to time with or without notice to you. Unless we indicate otherwise, modifications will be effective as of the date they are posted on this page or any successor page and supersede any prior Terms. You should look at the Terms regularly. Your continued opt-in to receive messages from GSOSW following any changes to these Terms will constitute your acceptance of such changes. If you wish to opt out of receiving communications from GSOSW under the updated Terms, you may text STOP in response to any GSOSW text message (you will receive a confirmation text).
