Advice for Campers New to Camp Cleawox
Our camp staff know better than most what advice might be most helpful to a first-time camper at Camp Cleawox. Here are some of our favorite tips:
Ask your family and friends to send you letters and postcards.
Come with a friend! You’ll make more while at camp and get to enjoy lots of fun camp activities together!
Make sure to bring long pants and sweaters/sweatshirts for those chilly summer nights!

Adders or Adirondacks: 3-sided cabins that the campers sleep in
Hooslies: Outdoor toilets, without plumbing. Latrines.
Squishy Dipping: Pond study; a chance to explore the lake or pond and see what lives there and how it works.
Yurts: Enclosed canvas building that the campers sleep in
