Thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the Seeking Sasquatch event! We had so much fun experiencing exciting outdoor and STEM activities with other Girl Scouts from around the council.
Event activities were led by Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington staff and local program partners. Highlights included:
- This new event and patch are based on the book The Search for Sasquatch by Laura Krantz. The author was be on-site to talk about her book and sign autographs!
- The Portland FBI helped us discover the tools of investigation and we created footprint casts to take home.
- We practiced outdoor skills on guided hikes, perfected our aim on the archery range, and more!
- We met mermaids, fairies, and more mystical creatures.
