Date: Thu Apr 10, 6:00 PM PDT - Thu Apr 10, 9:00 PM PDT
Girl Scouts Inside & Out (Part 2) trains adults how to teach
their Girl Scouts to venture further beyond the meeting place, from
short day trips to indoor overnights lasting one or two nights within
200 miles of GSOSW boundaries.
An indoor overnight trip is defined as staying overnight in an
enclosed structure with running water, heat, flush toilets,
electricity, kitchen facilities or a restaurant, and phone/cell
coverage. During this course, you will learn how to make an overnight
progression plan, how to prepare Girl Scouts to pack for themselves
and the troop, how to assist with meal planning, and how to help Girl
Scouts prepare themselves to sleep without adults in the room. This
training is the second in a two-part series called Girl Scouts Inside
& Out, which has replaced Day Trips and Indoor Overnights in the
required adult training progression.
Price
$12.00/adult
