Date: Sat Sep 20, 9:00 AM PDT - Sun Sep 21, 1:00 PM PDT
Join us for a hands-on, learning-packed weekend where you will learn
how to teach your Girl Scouts how to take themselves (and you) on an
outdoor trip! This training will prepare you to lead your Girl Scouts
through the progression needed to have successful, outdoor trips that
empower them to be even more confident, courageous, and strong! After
taking this training, expect to spend six months or more teaching and
equipping a troop with these skills. This training is required for any
overnight trip that does not have heat, electricity, and/or flush
toilets. This training is also required if food is cooked with fire,
propane, or coals.
This training has been generously
subsidized by the Theda Family Endowment for member year 2025.
