Girl Scout Communication
Jordan | Tigard, Oregon
Motivated to use her interest in computer science, Jordan created a password-protected website and newsletter to improve communication for her local Girl Scout service unit. The website and newsletter will help volunteers get timely, accurate information about events, training, updates to policies, and opportunities in their community at a single location. She created templates for the newsletter and detailed instructions on replicating the website and made them available to other Girl Scout service units. Jordan also trained an individual to maintain her service unit’s website.
Jordan is an Emerald Circle Scholarship recipient. Congratulations, Jordan!
