Addison was concerned that female students at her school were too often depressed and discouraged. She and her team designed inspirational sayings and artwork and installed them in the girls’ bathroom. After overcoming repeated instances of vandalism during the project, she ultimately succeeded in transforming the atmosphere in the bathroom and the students then embraced its messages. Addison left detailed instructions and supplies for school staff to use to maintain the artwork.
Addison is an Emerald Circle Scholarship recipient. Congratulations, Addison!
