The Vera E. Heidenreich & Marjory R. Smith Fund (VEH & MRS Fund) was established in 2001 to fund activities or events, purchase equipment, and/or training opportunities that will help bring the Girl Scout program to all girls. Last year's funded projects included sponsoring an adult volunteer’s Archery Training Certification to support increased archery opportunities in SU 9, CPR manikins and supplies for Red Cross Babysitter training in Washington, and a much-needed tune-up of the sewing machines at the Medford Service Center along with sewing supplies.
This one-time award between $100 and $400 is available to currently registered girls, volunteers, and staff with Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington.
